About
Tillman Digital is led by Cory Tillman, a technical program manager who spends his days turning messy, manual operations into systems that are measured, reliable, and mostly automated. Tillman Digital brings that same discipline to small businesses.
The Story
For over a decade, Cory has worked in technical program management and operations across a large, multi-site enterprise, supporting field technology at scale. The job is the same every day at its core: take something chaotic and manual, understand the real problem, and turn it into a system that works without heroics.
That meant analyzing operational data to find root causes, designing workflows in Asana and Smartsheet that teams actually adopt, building serverless data pipelines on AWS, and applying AI to speed up classification and reporting, always with a human in the loop. The through-line is simple: mechanisms over heroics, data first, and clear ownership on everything.
Tillman Digital exists to bring that same approach to businesses that don't have an in-house operations team, without the enterprise price tag or the layers of account managers.
What We Bring
Discovery, scope, governance, and clear execution, so projects actually land.
Turning operational data into the real reasons things break, and the fix.
Asana and Smartsheet: forms, rules, dashboards, and templates teams adopt.
Lightweight serverless pipelines on AWS that ingest, validate, and visualize.
Classification, summarization, and agentic workflows with a human-review gate.
Clear, narrative-with-numbers reporting that helps people make decisions.
Selected Work
A sample of programs and systems, described in general terms. Each turned a manual, error-prone process into something measured and repeatable.
Designed and built the system the team uses to perform and run preventative maintenance across a large equipment fleet. The analysis behind it showed how the checks should be positioned, turning an unachievable blanket target into a risk-based cadence with a watch list and a rollback trigger.
Built a root-cause taxonomy and a reporting cadence that turned noisy, high-volume SLA data into reliable trends and corrective actions with clear owners.
Replaced a manual weekly reporting grind with a hands-off AWS pipeline: ingest, enrich, validate, dashboard, and alert, reproducible and near-zero cost.
Designed a human-in-the-loop AI workflow for structured ticket classification with confidence gating, keeping speed and accountability together.
Tools Built Along the Way
Role-specialized agents (architect, auditor, implementer, tester, and more) that collaborate on complex build tasks.
A Model Context Protocol knowledge and memory server in Python and SQLite that gives AI agents persistent context.
An automated tool that classifies and routes files by content and rules, removing repetitive manual sorting.
Self-built study apps used to prepare for AWS certification exams.
